Once the benefactor has established which programme will be financed, North West School of Design will compile a proposal detailing the customized need of the benefactor and the beneficiaries. 60% Deposit is payable with booking of off-site training, balance is payable on the last day of the programme.

Off-site Training has an objective to create freelance opportunities for NWSD graduates. Programmes are facilitated by North West School of Design graduates and/or lecturers.

Each course runs from a Monday to Friday. Demonstrations and Presentations are conducted in the mornings from 08h00 to 13h15. Learners do practical applications in the afternoons from 14h00 to 16h00.

To ensure sustainability once training has been completed, learners are issued with stationary, material and machines. Learners get to keep all of the stationary, equipment and a sewing machine, to ensure that they have tools to continue practicing their skills. We strongly believe that it is of little use developing the skills without them having the tools to further experiment and gain experience in their newly taught skills.
